For more than a decade, tattoos have been part of how I express myself and move through the world. I’ve spent years in tattoo studios all over the world, built relationships with artists, and collected over a hundred tattoos that each hold a memory, a season, or a version of who I was becoming at that time.
I’ve tried countless tattoo aftercare products. Some have worked well enough, but many have felt clinical, greasy, overly-masculine, or disconnected from the beauty and intention of the art they were meant to protect.
What I couldn’t find was a product that reflected the full tattoo experience: Something feminine yet strong, aesthetic yet functional, natural yet effective, and created with care for both the body and the planet.
I wasn’t just searching for aftercare; I was searching for something that honored tattoos as a form of femininity.
That absence became the beginning of Rebel June.
Love & light,
Kelly Shuman
